Trevarthian Downs Mine

St Hilary, Cornwall, England, UK

Trevarthian Downs Mine is a former mixed metals mine between Marazion and Hayle.

Various metals were worked from this site, including tin, copper, lead, and arsenic.

Mindat lists 15 minerals from the site – mostly the typical tin and copper minerals we’d expect, but also including some less common – linarite, scheelite.

The site may also be known as Trevarthian Downs Consols or Trevarthen Mine.
