Parsons Park Pit
St Neot, Cornwall, England, UK
A former china clay pit which also produced specimens of quartz and cassiterite.
Showing the single result
Little of the pit seems to remain nowadays, other than some pipe that may have transported liquid kaolin clay.
The pit is potentially known by a few other names, including:
- Parc St Neot pit
- Parsons Park pit
- Lords Park pit
- Park pit
Obviously, pit in the above names may be replaced by ‘china clay pit’ or ‘CCP’ in older specimen labels, so it is possible some may be labelled as ‘Parc St Neot CCP’.
