High Cross

Brill, Constantine, Cornwall, UK

A locale I wasn’t able to find much information about!

This locale is not one I can tell you anything about – the name comes from a label from an Anatase specimen labelled as “High Cross, Brill, Cornwall”.

I suspect this probably refers to the hamlet of High Cross, two miles away from the village of Brill. However, it is possible there is an ancient cross somewhere in the Brill area known locally as the ‘High Cross’.

I was not able to find any information on the NLS old maps service or a locale via Mindat, unfortunately.
