Roselidden mine

Wendron, Cornwall, England, UK

Roselidden mine is a former tin mine near Helston, Cornwall, later worked as part of the Trumpet Consols combined mines.

The site was worked from as early as the 1500s for tin, and it was operated from the 1700s to 1800s. Later, the mine was briefly opened in the 1840s before the site was altered to form a farm.

The site was worked as a farm until around 2000, when parts were sold off.

More recently the farmhouse etc were restored as part of a community center.
