Crinoidal Limestone Specimens

These are Crinoidal Limestone specimens, from the Silurian age.

The Crinoids themselves are Scyphocrinites elegans - though this is based on area, as the identifiable pieces are missing from these specimens.

Available in a few sizes, you can see from the photographs that these are a good stem-heavy matrix.

These pieces all come from Morocco, typically from the area around Alnif in southern Morocco. With their low price points, they make an ideal buy for the first time collector, or for adding to kids collections!
