Mahogany Obsidian Arrowheads

Interesting little carved Mahogany Obsidian arrowheads measuring between 30 and 60MM approximately.

These are carved in the shape of arrowheads resembling the ancient native American artifacts found across the States. They are not ancient, though - they are modern items usually sold in gift shops.

They are quite popular with wire wrappers, as their shape makes them essentially a ready made pendant. Some people use them as teaching aids for their children, too - or just presents for children interested in native American culture and history.

As a volcanic glass, Obsidian pieces should not be impacted into anything as they could shatter into very sharp fragments. Obviously... don't use these as real arrowheads!
