Black Obsidian Arrowheads
Lovely carved black Obsidian arrowheads measuring between 30-60MM approximately.
While these may be intended to look like ancient arrow head artifacts, they are not. Many gift shops around the world sell these items, which are modern carvings/knappings intended for display.
These arrowheads are very popular with wire wrappers, and jewellers. Due to their shape, they are essentially a ready-made pendant.
They are also always popular with children, especially those interested in the native American history and culture.
As a volcanic glass, Obsidian pieces should not be impacted into anything, because they could shatter into very sharp fragments. Obviously... don't use these as real arrowheads!
