Calcite and Selenite specimens from Jebel Saghro, Morocco
Nice little specimens, these - mixtures of calcite and selenite crystals, deposited in voids as mineral rich solutions of liquid evaporated.
The 'dog tooth' calcite appears to be slightly orange under UV light, but nothing spectacular, so I haven't marked these as UV reactive specimens. The selenite crystals are larger and clearer, with good etched flat sides.
