Ladywash Mine

Eyam, Derbyshire Dales District, Derbyshire, England, UK

A mixed ore mine which was worked for lead and fluorite until the 70s or 80s.

It isn’t exactly clear when the mine was opened, only that it was closed in either 1979 or 1987.

There are several links below with visits to the site by cavers and mineral collectors; so it seems there may still be some public access.
