Quenstedtoceras lamberti Ammonites
An uncommon Ammonite; although it is found in several areas in the UK.
Our current stock includes:
- Various small specimens from the Lamberti zone of the Oxford Clay, found in an unknown locale somewhere between Oxford and Aylesbury. These Ammonites measure around 15-20MM wide approximately.
The presence of Quenstedtoceras is one of the methods used to identify one of the six Ammonite biozones which comprise the Callovian age of the Middle Jurassic.
