Excellent specimens of Quartz from this world famous mining district, which produces a range of high quality specimens for collectors.
Our current stock includes:
- #1 - 26.3x24.7x13.2MM - fine white-clear crystals of excellent quality over a dark metallic matrix, probably galena or sphalerite - with a little pyrite too. This is a fragile piece due to the small crystals - please handle with care. We could perhaps make the claim that this quartz should be considered 'opaline' but this is a phrase I prefer not to use because of the potential confusion with the glass 'opalite'.
- #2 - 25.9x24.9x22.8MM - a nice specimen of white Quartz crystals covering a small metallic matrix.
