Nice little Quartz specimens from Cerro De La Concordia.

This hill is well known for being one of the sources of Vera Cruz type Amethyst, and this is what this material was sold to me as, but frankly I can't see a single hint of colour in it against a white or black background (except maybe #9).

Vera Cruz material is a very pale Amethyst, but for my money these are best off marked as Quartz.

They are reasonably nice quartz points; well formed and unweathered, some with interesting forms and odd growth.
