Nylon headed leathercraft hammer / maul

Part of our budget tools range - these are fairly well made leatherworking hammers, sometimes known as mauls.

The hammer itself is disassemblable, so the heads can be replaced with a suitable replacement part, or a brass replacement if required.

The striking piece is made of machined nylon and measures 60x48MM approximately. I am trying to source some replacement parts, but it would be very easy to replace the head with a piece of HDPE or nylon with a simple drill hole through the centre.

In total, the mallets measure around 22CM long and are a good size for an adult male hand. With the right hand motion I can see this being a comfortable weight (around 320 grams) for several hours of work.
