Micromount and thumbnail sized specimens of goethite and quartz from Wheal Cock, a part of the combined Botallack Mine.

There are two 'types' here, just the two ways goethite from the site occurs - one is a golden splay of crystals, one is a black dot of mineral on the surface.

These are very small pieces and magnification is essential.
