Leadhills is an old lead-zinc mining area based around the village of Leadhills.

These specimens are from an older collection and unfortunately little provenance was recorded - just 'Leadhills'.  They aren't the best specimens - the quartz is often milky and poorly formed, and the galena is sometimes weathered.

They will come loosely bagged - please handle with care, as galena is a toxic mineral.
