Fluorite and Galena mineral specimens
Specimen pieces of Fluorite with Galena crystals, or sitting on a bed of Galena.
We currently have one special piece in stock:
- #1 - 135x76x62.5MM - Unknown locale somewhere in the UK . It may be Weardale but the finder couldn't remember where it was collected. It comprises several nice Galena crystals on a bed of cubic pyrite, as well as a metal-rich matrix. The Fluorite itself is colourless but UV reactive. Due to the brown-grey matrix the Fluorite crystals look almost 'dirty' until hit with UV light.
- #2 - 50.3x40.1x35.7MM - nice small specimen from the Weardale area of the UK. Good fluorescence to the Fluorite, which covers most sides of the piece.
- Randomly selected pieces from Weardale, UK. They may only have a few galena crystals per piece.
