Nice micromount specimen of blue Corundum var. Sapphire, from the Bellerberg volcano, Germany.

Comes boxed with our ID label and a former owners label. Unfortunately no further locality information was recorded, so this could be from a fairly wide region, although I suspect it is from Caspar Quarry. 

Magnification is absolutely essential for this specimen.
