Ruby in Pargasite mineral specimens
Small, low grade crystals of Ruby in dark green Pargasite. These specimens are probably best shown under UV light, where the Ruby glows a bright pink.
Under regular light, they are a very dark green glittery mineral with small patches of dark red - similar in appearance to Ruby in Zoisite but a little darker and with a different luster.
Our current stock comes from the Mundarara mine, Arusha region, Tanzania.
