Micro crystals of Cerussite on a large well defined lump of Galena, from Greystone Quarry, Lelant, Cornwall.

Greystone Quarry is rather interesting - a hardcore/aggregrate quarry situated over the old sites of several small lead mines.

Cerussite and Galena are both ores of lead, so this specimen should be handled with care - please wash your hands after handling.

We currently have a single piece in stock measuring 51.2x36.5x19.7MM. The cerussite crystals are small, approx 2-3MM, and best viewed with a loupe.
