Polished Agate bird carvings

Cute little pieces of Agate carved into detailed bird shapes - the head and nape of what look to be birds of prey, but likely aren't a specific species.

A birdy friend has told me most look a bit like eagles. I don't know enough about birds to argue with her.

I don't normally buy these types of carvings as a lot of the time the details are quite poor; either inexact to start with or poorly finished, but I was quite pleased with the flowing detail of the... mane?

Add into that that several of these pieces have rather nice druzy Quartz clusters or voids in the centre, I think these are quite nice overall!

They have a flat cut base and are perfectly able to stand up on their own.
