Penrhiw Mine
Ystumtuen, Cwmrheidol, Ceredigion, Wales, UK
Former copper, lead, and zinc mine near Ystumtuen.
Showing the single result
From what I can gather this site is almost entirely reclaimed, although some buildings do exist – and are being reused as private dwellings and businesses.
It’s unlikely there will be further specimens coming from this site.
Mindat lists 24 minerals from the site, primarily lead, copper and zinc minerals – surprise?
Not to be confused with the Penrhiw Colliery.
