Villabona Mines

Villabona, Llanera, Asturias, Spain

A group of several small mines producing yellow Fluorite, calcites, baryte and pyrite.

The Villabona Mines should not be confused with the Villabona Mining District, a larger area containing several other mines including Mina Moscona.

 

Villabona Mines seems to encompass three mines:

  • San Ismael Mine
  • Santo Firme Peak
  • Cucona Mine

Mindat lists 8 minerals from the Villabona Mines, including baryte and fluorite.
