Tankerville Mine is a former lead mine which was worked between around 1830 and 1890ish.

The mine was formerly known as Ovenpipe Mine.

 

The site is open to the public and can be visited – check the ‘Shropshire Mines’ link below.

The site has undergone conservation to keep it safe for the public to visit.
