Showing the single result

A small city, circa 20k population.

Various mining areas outside of the city have produced interesting minerals over time, and the area is well known for mica and muscovite especially, although aquamarine and emerald are both found here in small amounts.

The mica tends to be an olive-green to brown chrome bearing muscovite consisting of intergrown micaceous ‘books’.
