Eugenia Mine

The Eugenia mine is a former mine and now tourist attraction, as part of the Museu de la Ciència i de la Tècnica de Catalunya.

Eugenia was worked as a lead mine from the 19th century until 1972.

It was a large mine reaching 300m below sea level, with more than 14 kilometers of galleries up to 620m below surface.

The museum may include tours of parts of the mine.

Mindat lists 40 minerals from the site, including some interesting nickel ore minerals.
