Showing the single result
There is limited information on the site available online, and there appear to be numerous ‘Dug Hill’s throughout Arkansas.
This one is slightly south of the small town of Avant. It sits to the north of Lake Ouachita.
Mindat lists 7 minerals from the site, with the most well known being the specimens of Wavellite that are found around the site.
It is possible the site is called Dug Hill due to the numerous small diggings that covered the hillside.
