Druzy Cabochons
Roughly shaped druzy, cut into circles or ovals. These are by definition not cabochons, but do have a flat back and are intended for jewellery making.
An odd way to show off the mineral, but actually quite striking – rather than cut a domed cabochon from Amethyst, the ‘clusters’ are simply rounded off and set as-is.
However, they can be fragile, and customers should be recommened to handle this jewellery with care – or ideally, only use the pieces for pendants.
