Blue Indicolite Tourmaline crystals
Small dark blue-green Tourmaline crystals, available in a few sizes. Blue Tourmaline is sometimes known as Indicolite and is one of the rarest colours of Tourmaline.
Because these are natural pieces, the number of inclusions will differ, as will the size, shape, and colour of the piece.
We have Indicolite from a couple of places in stock currently.
Indicolite Tourmaline from Afghanistan
We have several grades of blue Tourmaline from Afghanistan with nice colour to the A grade material. The B has colour and but is likely to be included or cloudy; the C grade is opaque to translucent.
Indicolite Tourmaline from Namibia
We have two grades of Indicolite from Namibia - our A grade material is a reasonably nice quality with good colour - it does require a backlight for full effect though. Our B grade material is quite dark, blue-black, or sometimes with matrix, white marks, etc.
Indicolite Tourmaline from Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Best viewed with a backlight, however, they do have remarkably good clarity and colour. If they weren't quite this small I'd suggest some could potentially be faceted.
- A selection of crystals from Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan sold by size - sold singly. We currently have 7-10, 10-12, and 12-15MM pieces.
- Packets of five tiny crystals from Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, thin pieces between 1-3MM wide - and typically between 5-10MM long. Some are a little longer, up to 17MM or so.
- A pack of 15 smaller mixed crystals from Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan - some are a very good quality grade but are very small (2-5MM), some are a much lower grade and often have some matrix (5-15MM)
The pictures you see here are representative of the products and are usually not the exact item you will receive. Where various grades are available we do try to photograph each grade - but some photographs are still on their way!
