Rough Emerald Crystals
Small rough Emerald crystals, sold in two different grades.
These are not of a cutting grade and are intended as mineral specimens only. These pieces are typically found in Brazil, but some pieces may be from other locales.
We currently have four small packets in very good quality. These bags are 0.5 grams and the specimens come from Afghanistan – a bag will contain anything from 5-20 pieces, so please note they are very small!
Our grades refer to the quality of the stones. The Grade A stones are lovely, mostly clear green pieces – but are very small, measuring only 3-6MM approximately. They have been photographed against a black background.
Our Grade B stones, on the other hand, are a cloudy green; usually with some stone matrix still attached. They measure between 10-20MM approximately most of the time. These deserve to be a grade C when compared with our lovely grade A pieces but we do not have a source in the middle, quality wise!
The pictures currently show a grade B piece, we are planning on adding more soon.
The pictures you see here are representative of the products and are usually not the exact item you will receive. Where various grades are available we do try to photograph each grade – but some photographs are still on their way!
