Nice rich thumbnail specimens of green pyromorphite from the Belton Grain vein, Wanlockhead, Scotland.

Wanlockhead is well known among mineral collectors in the UK as a locale for lead and zinc mining and minerals, and dump sites around the area were collector favourites for many years - many are now SSSIs and older collections are the only source of mineral specimens from some of these sites.

These specimens are good for the price and come boxed with our ID label. I would recommend magnification for full effect, but the pyromorphite can certainly be seen with the naked eye - just not the crystalline formations it creates.
