Malachite bowls
Carved Malachite bowls, perfect for trinkets or tumblestones.
These bowls are typically slices of Malachite laid into a green resin or cement (referred to as composite), rather than being cut from a solid piece of Malachite – however, we do sometimes sell solid Malachite bowls.
Our current stock consists of:
- #1 – a round bowl with a plain Copper alloy edge. 135x135x20MM approximately. A composite of Malachite slices and green resin/cement.
- #2 – a round bowl with a scalloped Copper alloy edge. 135x130x25MM approximately. A composite of Malachite slices and green resin/cement.
- #3 – an oval bowl with a scalloped Copper alloy edge. 190x115x20MM approximately. A composite of Malachite slices and green resin/cement. There are a few cracks in this one.
- #4 – an oval bowl with a plain Copper alloy edge. 160x110x25MM approximately. A composite of Malachite slices and green resin/cement.
- #5 – a freeform shaped bowl cut from a solid piece of Malachite. I suspect this was intended as an ashtray but makes a good coin/keys dish. Measures 150x100x30MM approx, and weighs 950 grams. Fairly rough base, which could have been cut flatter.
