Magnesite Specimens

Interesting little Magnesite specimens available in a few sizes.

These pieces are ideal for collectors, and may also be of use for demonstrating certain types of fake Turquoise.

Magnesite and Howlite are both dyed and sold as 'Turquoise' or 'Turqurenite', etc. For more information about this fakery, see our blog post on the subject!

The faking of Turquoise is actually so common that it is becoming harder and more expensive to buy rough pieces of Magnesite.
