Greenockite, Prehnite and Natrolite from Boyleston Quarry, Barrhead, East Renfrewshire, Scotland, UK
Nice little thumbnail specimen of Greenockite on matrix from Boyleston Quarry, Scotland.
This specimen was part of Roger Harkers collection and has three of his labels glued to the perky box it comes mounted in.
The specimen is mounted with glue into the box and there is some glue on the specimen.
The labels are glued to the box; one was loose and has been re-attached with a conservation grade tape.
Ex. Roger Harker, 'Russell' - possibly Arthur Russell? collections.
Greenockite is a cadmium mineral and should be considered toxic - wash your hands after handling.
