Calcite stalactite from Coombefield Quarry, Isle of Portland, Dorset, UK

Now this really is a rare piece! I haven't seen one quite like this before.

Not only is this a rare locale, but an orange calcite stalactite - not a common find at all.

The stalactite looks almost like its one of the more common copal stalactites you sometimes see from the Dominican republic, but it is solid stone.

Our current stock includes:

#1 - 86.8x15.3x14.6MM - a very nice piece; one end has a hole in but this does not go all the way through to the other end.
