Blue John Fluorite for lapidary
These Blue John pieces are perfect for lapidary usage; small pieces perfect for trim cutting or grinding into cabochons.
Blue John only occurs in a small area around the town of Castleton in Derbyshire and is particularly prized for its bright blue and yellow colours. It has been carved since at least the Roman times, and probably before.
We currently have a small amount for lapidary in stock, and they're typically perfectly sized for cab cutting.
- Two pieces, a total of 32.3 grams. One is very, very nice - one is a poor quality with a crack through it
