Egremont, Copeland, Cumbria, England, UK

A former iron ore mine, worked between 1898 and 1968.

Ullcoats Mine may sometimes be considered a part of the combined Florence-Ullcoats Mine.

Ullcoats mIne was worked independently but eventually interconnected with Florence mine in the 1950s.

The site was primarily worked for hematite, but is probably best known by collectors for fluorite from the site.
