Megiliggar Rocks

Spectacular topaz granite rock sheets sitting horizontally, exposed in the cliffs.

Mindat lists seventeen minerals from the site including fine crystals of apatite, schorl, and topaz.

The site is a SSSI and protected by geological conservation reviews. It is quite difficult to access, too – and no collecting will be allowed.
