Loanhead Quarry

Loanhead Quarry is an aggregate quarry but also produces some very nice mineral specimens, including Garnets, Epidote, Calcites and Prehnite.

I haven’t found too much out about the quarry, only that it has been open since at least the early 90s and was purchased in 2006 by the Malcolm Group.
