La Tejera ravine
La Cuna hill, Montalbán, Teruel, Aragon, Spain
La Tejera is a ravine near the villages of Montalban and Castel de Cabra, with exposures of various minerals.
Showing the single result
In Spanish, it is known as Barranco de la Tejera.
Minerals found at the site include calcite, gypsum, and kaolinite, with some of the Gypsum crystals being rather nice – the pieces I have had from this locale are some of the better Selenite I’ve seen from Spain. The Calcite from this locale is described as ‘crusts’, in septarian like nodules.
