Cavendish Mill

Stoney Middleton, Derbyshire Dales District, Derbyshire, England, UK

A fluorspar mine north of Bakewell, in the Peak District national park.

Showing the single result

Cavendish Mill was worked for fluorspar by British Fluorspar Limited.

I have not been able to find out much about the site – according to the local council it appears some of the machinery and equipment has been removed from the site for sale and work at the site has been stopped.

Whether the site will reopen (or has already reopened) I don’t know.
