Castle Acre quarry is an aggregate quarry providing crushed chalk and flint, which also occasionally produces mineral specimens.

Several minerals are found at the site, including Quartz, Siderite, and Vivianite.

The quarry is also sometimes known as Newton-by-Castle-Acre chalk pit.
