Cabezo Negro de Tallante is an extinct volcano to the north of Cartagena.

It is the youngest volcano in the Campo de Cartagena, dating to around 1 million years ago, during the Pleistocene.
This makes it quite an important and interesting site to vulcanologists and geologists in the area.
