Cabezo Negro de Tallante

Tallante, Cartagena, Murcia, Spain

Cabezo Negro de Tallante is an extinct volcano to the north of Cartagena.

It is the youngest volcano in the Campo de Cartagena, dating to around 1 million years ago, during the Pleistocene.

This makes it quite an important and interesting site to vulcanologists and geologists in the area.
