South Brent, South Hams District, Devon, England, United Kingdom

A relatively unknown locale that produces specimens of Garnet crystals.

Brent Hill is not listed on mindat, and should not be confused with the more well known Brent Tor.

  • Brent Hill is at 50°26’25.8″N 3°49’39.8″W
  • Brent Tor is at 50°36’11.3″N 4°09’36.8″W

If I manage to find more information on the site I will add a mindat page.

Brent Hill is the site of an iron age hill fort, so collection would likely not be allowed as it may be a historic monument – this is perhaps why the locale is unknown.
