Larger and high quality pieces of Whitby Jet for lapidary and carving.

This material has been used since antiquity, and was used by the norse 'Viking' peoples, the Victorians, and is now becoming more and more popular currently too!

This is the highest quality Jet I have, all with a ginger brown streak. It is perfect for carving etc.

• #1 - 47.5x25.5x9.4MM / 7.6g - flat piece, perfect for a cabochon.
• #2 - 35x26x11.4MM / 7.9g - flat piece, perfect for a cabochon.
• #3 - 31.5x13.4x13.4MM / 4.1g - rectangular, best for carving and not be ideal for cabochons.
• #4 - 35.3x30.2x13.7MM / 12g - large flat piece, ideal for a carving.
• #5 - 51.9x23.9x13.5MM / 7.5g - this piece is triangular and will not be ideal for cabochons.
• #6 - 50.3x37x10.7MM / 11.6g - flat piece, perfect for a cabochon.
• #7 - 66x33.9x13.9MM / 20.9g - massive flat piece, perfect for a carving or large cabochon.
• #8 - 31x27.9x10.2MM / 6.7g - flat piece, perfect for a cabochon.
• #9 - 52.4x16.3x15.7MM / 8.8g - long rectangular piece more suited for carving.
• #10 -33.4x22.3x16.3MM / 8.4g - fairly chunky, probably better for carving than a cabochon.
• #11 - 41.3x18x17.5MM / 7.3g - quite a rounded rectangular piece. Better for carving.
• Mixed ten gram packets - these are hard jet in thin shapes, ideal for cabochon cutting for anyone who doesn't have a lapidary saw. Pieces vary from 20-50MM long, 15-35MM wide, and 3-10MM thick.
