Blue Obsidian Tumblestones

Pretty blue Obsidian tumblestones, measuring approximately 15-25MM long.

Blue Obsidian is sometimes incorrectly sold as natural volcanic glass. However, these tumblestones are not - they are an even coloured, manmade light blue glass.

Again - these are a blue man-made glass. While natural Blue Obsidian does exist, it is very, very rare and we have never seen a clear piece. It is usually a blue tinge to a completely opaque piece.

These tumblestones make a good decorative item when placed in a small bowl or a vase. They are perfectly suitable for use in a fish tank or an aquarium, being made of glass. Because of their light colour and clarity, they make an interesting contrast stone for a lot of things, especially darker and much lighter stones.
