Interesting little Amegreen tumblestones, measuring between 15 and 25MM approximately.
These stones are quite unusual; a combination between Amethyst and Prasiolite, sometimes known as ‘Green Amethyst’ or ‘Green Quartz’.
They make a nice display item in a bowl, or a vase, and are good contrast stones against something darker. As a fairly rare stone, the mineral collectors in the audience might be interested in them, too!
These Amegreen pieces are most likely treated; we simply don’t know for sure. This means the stones have been partially heated or irradiated in order to change the colour of a piece partially green. Prasiolite on its own is very rare in nature.
The pictures you see here are representative of the products and are usually not the exact item you will receive. Where various grades are available we do try to photograph each grade – but some photographs are still on their way!

Not sold by the stone? You’ll almost certainly be interested in something in our main Tumblestones section.
