These are small sliced and polished pieces of Tiger Iron, a form of banded iron formation with a striped red colour caused by interspersed bands of red Jasper contrasting against Hematite and other iron ores.

These are small sliced and polished pieces of Tiger Iron, a form of banded iron formation with a striped red colour caused by interspersed bands of red Jasper contrasting against Hematite and other iron ores.
The iron gives a metallic shine which contrasts nicely against the matte Jasper.
