Spinel from An Phú, Vietnam

Spinel from An Phú, Lục Yên District, Yên Bái Province, Vietnam

Micro crystals of Spinel from An Phú, Vietnam.

These are small fragmentary crystals which come mounted in a display box.

It is somewhat unusual for Vietnamese minerals to have locality information attached; and this is a fairly vague locale, referring to an area of a village where gemstones are collected.
