Nice little specimens of Siderite from Devon Great Consols.

Unfortunately no information was recorded on which mine this was from - perhaps collected from a dump on the site.

• #1 - The original collector has labelled this Melanterite and Siderite; I was not able to identify melanterite for certain during the quick look I had, so I have labelled it simply as siderite.
  Small specimen, best considered a thumbnail. Comes in a new plastic box, but with its original label (1999) and our ID label.
