Gypsum var Selenite crystals from La Tejera ravine, near Montalbán, Spain.

Gypsum crystals of this type are known as selenite; they are large and clear and differ from the 'satin spar' sold as selenite from Morocco.

We currently have a few pieces in stock, really rather nice striated crystals, clear except for numerous inclusions of clay and other detritus.
